I was raised up poor. Similar to the Barbara Mandrell song, we went to yard sales when going to yard sales wasn't cool. Damp, cool mornings would find my family in the yards and driveways of our town, eagerly digging around in boxes of who-knows-what. It was always great fun, and sometimes we'd find just what we needed. I was especially interested in the things that would cause me to ask What IS this? When the owner would explain, then I just knew SOMEONE would be thrilled to have that, if they only knew it was there. One unique item, one buyer with a unique interest, but they never got matched up. How sad . . .
Then the Internet came along. I opened my eBay store, which I had for four years. That worked pretty well until eBay raised their listing fees and removed eBay stores from search results. So I purchased a domain name and got to work coding my own online store. Now I can offer those same unique items you used to find in my eBay store.
You can shop without getting up early and heading out into the damp, morning air. You don't even have to get out of your pajamas; hence the name SHOP IN JAMMIES!
